Jesus second entry into Jerusalem using a mother ass and a colt

The 10th of Nisan is when Israel will chose their Passover Lamb.  He showed Israel that he will be.

Jesus second entry was also to give blessings to Israel.  Jesus loaded the colt with food for the people in the Temple.  For the people to be attracted, food is the greatest motivator.

2 Sam 16:1 -And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

2 Sam 16:2 - And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses be for the king's household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as be faint in the wilderness may drink.

Jesus performed cleansing of the Temple in preparation of Passover. He rode the ass for power and authority to correct the current system of religion in Israel.

Matt 21:10 - And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

After cleansing the Temple and giving them free food, Jesus also healed them from their infirmities.
