O God * the creator and redeemer of all the faithful.

Grant to the soul of your departed servant ________________,

the remission of all his sins, * that through our prayers,

he may obtain the pardon he has always desired.

Incline Thine ear, O Lord * unto our prayer * wherewith we humbly

beseech Your mercy * that Thou wouldst grant unto the soul

of Your servant __________________ whom Thou has commanded

to dapart out of this world * unto a place in the region

of light and peace and make him the associate of Your saints.

of the enemy * nor be forgetful of him forever * but command that

he be taken up by the holy angels * and let him into Paradise,

his true country * that since he has hoped and believed in You

he may not suffer the pains of hell * but may possess eternal joys.
